Once upon a time, there lived a naïve young girl who believed people always had her best interest at heart and that love would always save the day. Rather than being intentional with her finances, she let her heart and emotions do the decision making with regards to managing her finances. Such decision rippled into adverse effects such as bad credit, repossessions, being scammed multiple times, and ultimately left her broke.
It is often said that there is no such thing as happily ever after. In fact, life is filled with ups and downs. The event of life deals you some good cards good and some bad cards. In fact, some people believe that they have been dealt more bad cards than good cards. I was no exception to being dealt some though cards. I will be the first to admit that I did not always make smart choices with my finances which left me feeling overwhelmed and hopeless.
I soon found out that happiness is an experience that comes and go. I decided to be intentional with managing the money I have been stewarded with. Soon after, with hard work and a bit of intentionality, I started to yield positive results and things began to work more in my favor. I moved from a state of hopelessness to being hopeful! I stopped believing I was unfortunate with money and I started winning with money. I still believe love saves the day because love is who we are. I still believe in the good in humanity, I believe that I can be happy ever with my finance… if I am intentional. I believe You can be “happily ever” with your finances as well.
